Hello everyone!

I'm a new member to these boards, and a relatively new Bass VI enthusiast, but I very much look forward to being a part of any type of conversation that I can contribute to in this community! I'm currently in the process of custom fabricating a period-correct Bass VI as well as one modified to my own playing specifications for my current band. I was wondering if anyone knew of any other source for obtaining a master control plate other than the French custom fabricator (that I'll list below)? I've send out numerous messages, but I feel that perhaps someone here will be able to point me in a better direction, or possibly be willing to trace theirs and shoot it to me? I'd just like to cover all my possible bases (no pun intended), considering how much of a rarity these things seem to be. I'd be forever in your debt. And, of course, upon completion I will be posting all the pics of both. Smile

Regards!

Si.

Oh, and for those who have been searching out the website for the french fabricator, it is http://www.huort-ch.com/

Hi sense_perception.

Facebook group "Bass VI players." member Roberto Retana would know (he build's his own 'VI'es too):
